SIEH promotes and operates within an open and collaborative ecosystem that brings together research, institutions, businesses, start-ups and civil society, where knowledge becomes the engine for new enterprises, technologies and organisational models aimed not only at economic growth, but also at collective wellbeing and sustainability. Particular attention is devoted to the dimension of social entrepreneurship: we encourage the development of initiatives and start-ups which, following the “Yunus social business” approach, place positive impact on communities, inclusion and the reduction of inequalities at their core.
