A great success for the launch of the Sapienza Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub!
On Monday, in the Aula Magna of Sapienza University of Rome, the event “Sapienza for innovation and academic entrepreneurship” was held, marking the official launch of the Sapienza Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub – SIEH.
It was a day of energy, vision, and discussion, bringing together universities, institutions, and businesses to reflect on how universities can become drivers of innovation and enterprise for the future of the country.
The speeches by Rector Antonella Polimeni, Vice Rector for Technology Transfer, Entrepreneurship, and Placement Alberto Pastore, SIEH Director Sabrina Lucibello, Vice President of the Lazio Region Roberta Angelilli, and representatives of Lazio Innova (President Marcolini and Director of Spazi Attivi Luigi Campitelli), CDP Venture Capital SGR (Head of the Technology Transfer Fund, Claudia Pingue), and Invitalia (Head of BU Incentives and Innovation, Luigi Gallo), who shared their visions and perspectives on the strategic value of collaboration between research, business, and institutions.
Special thanks also go to the startups born out of Sapienza research—WSENSE, NHAZCA S.r.l., and BrainSigns—concrete examples of how academic ideas can be transformed into innovations capable of generating real impact.
The launch of SIEH marks the beginning of a new era for innovative entrepreneurship at Sapienza: a dynamic ecosystem where knowledge becomes value, ideas become businesses, and innovation becomes the future.
